Apple Launches New iPad, Screen Resolution 2048 x 1536 Pixels


What awaited Apple tablet fans was finally answered. More recently, precisely March 7, 2012 yesterday, at an event held in San Francisco, Apple has announced some important things, one of which is his latest tablet.


Unlike the rumor that developed later which indicated that the new tablet called iPad 3 or iPad HD, Apple would give the device name with the name that is quite simple, only the new tablet dubbed the iPad, as the first version.

Despite having a name that is simple enough, does not mean that the vendor offered a new tablet is not based in Cupertino wah. iPad is packaged with third-generation Retina Display screen resolution 2048 x 1536 pixels with a density of 263.92 ppi. Apple claims that the new iPad will have better color saturation than the iPad 2.

For the processor, the new tablet is rumored to be presenting only dual-core chip with quad-core A5X graphics, not quad-core A6 as has been rumored over the years. Feature, dubbed as the iSight camera comes with a resolution of 5 MP auto-focus and BSI-capable HD 1080p video recording.

The new facilities on offer include, 21Mbps and 42Mbps HSPA + DC-HSDPA, LTE and 4G speeds up to 73Mbps. The battery on the iPad is claimed to be able to supply power for up to 10 hours, while for the battery mode 4G devices can support up to 9 hours.

Like its predecessor, the iPad also comes with several versions according to memory capacity offered. For the 16 GB version, the new iPad will be priced around 499 USD, while the 32 GB and 64 GB, each priced at 599 and 699 USD. This slick tablet will go on sale on March 16, 2012.
