Through a press release dated March 19, 2012, Apple announced that it has achieved record sales of tablet anyarnya launched since last Friday.

The new iPad has been available in some countries, such as the United States, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the Virgin Islands. Apple's new tablet will also be available in more than 24 other countries the day Friday, March 23 beginning at 8:00 local time.
